Feet Up Friday with Neil Bromage

Sharing is caring!

Tell us when and where your journey as an author began

Wow, it`s so long ago I`m not sure I should admit to it! It was about 30 years ago and after reading Jeffrey Archer`s Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less.

What would you consider to be your biggest achievement as a writer, so far?

I`ve had an amazing freelance career over the last 25-30 years, writing for The Times, Sunday Times, Telegraph, and Mail on Sunday to name just a few. I`ve also written for Reuters.

Who or what is your greatest inspiration?

My wife and family.

What’s next for you?

Having published my first novel in 2022 I`m now working on the second.

Do you have any words of wisdom for aspiring authors?

Keep going. Persistence and determination are hugely important alongside self belief.

Tell us something about yourself that not many people know!

I failed O Level English!

Thanks Neil, I don’t think you’re on your own in failing English!
