This weekend my darling husband joined us to the National Trust. Stomping ground of the middle class, middle aged couple / family.
Yep, we joined – well, he joined, I just got a temporary membership card.
So to christen this new phase in our lives we set off for Fountains Abbey.
I haven’t been there since I was a kid, and though it took me over a week to recover from the 10,000 steps and 7km walk – it was sooo worth it. Even the kids didn’t mind being dragged around. Here are a few images of our wonderful day.
Perhaps being members of the National Trust won’t be so bad after all!
